The Forel TT2503 table is powered by oleo dynamic cylinders that tilting the glass from vertical to horizontal by a foot pedal control. The “cantilever” movement, where the tilting simultaneously advances the table by the wheels on the base. When the worktable has been tilted horizontal, the glass can be handled on the table by an air cushion created by a fan, moreover a special infrared lamp mounted on the front of the tilting table heats the PVB film for easier peeling. It has an operator safety system using an electrosensitive mat, which on tripping locks all moving mechanical parts.
